Sharp dished out a pair of assists -- one on the power play -- and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Coyotes.

It's been a down campaign for Sharp, but he's been looking better over the last couple games, notching three assists (two of them on the man advantage). With only nine goals to show for 136 shots, he's well off his career shooting percentage, but Sharp is still shooting as often as ever, so it's reasonable to assume that he'll find his way into the goal column more often in the season's second half.

The 33-year-old sniper is now sporting a four-game point streak, tallying three goals and two assists in that span. With five goals and 10 points in his last nine games, Sharp is once again proving to be one of the best fantasy options around. He has 25 shots on goal in his last four games and has appeared on the scoresheet in nine of his last 11 outings. Keep him rolling.

Sharp netted a power-play goal in a 3-2 loss to the Capitals in Thursday's annual Winter Classic.

Sharp used the outdoor environment of Nationals Park to his advantage, as Capitals goalie Braden Holtby never saw the puck leave the forward's stick while the sun beamed down on him. But he didn't solely rest on trickery to deliver a superb showing for the Blackhawks, as he finished with a game-high 10 shots, which also represented his best total for the season.

Sharp has been dominant in his past two games, recording four points, 11 shots on goal and a plus-3 rating. The 32-year-old now has 15 points (seven goals) in 20 games, to go with a minus-3 rating. He should be in your lineup every night he's in action.

Sharp sniped his fifth goal of the season and recorded a game-high seven shots on goal in Saturday's loss to Columbus.

A dominant outing from Sharp, who has now collected two goals in his past three games, recording 14 shots on goal in that span. Sharp may be currently skating on the third line, but he is playing on the top power-play unit and will likely be moved back into the top-six soon. Sharp (leg) will be activated from injured reserve and return to the Chicago lineup Tuesday against New Jersey, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports.

The leg injury kept Sharp out for a little over a month, or about a week longer than the Blackhawks had initially expected upon their first diagnosis of his condition. Despite the minor setback, it looks like the winger is now fully healthy and ready to resume what had been a respectable season prior to suffering the long-term injury. Sharp accumulated nine points in 13 games and is slated to join Bryan Bickell and Andrew Shaw on the third line in his return.

Sharp's recovery from the leg injury has taken slightly longer than initially expected, but he resumed practicing with the team earlier this week and appears on track to return for the second game of the Blackhawks' road trip. Sharp (leg) will not return until next week at the earliest, ESPN Chicago reports.

Though Sharp resumed practicing with the Blackhawks on Tuesday, coach Joel Quenneville expressed a desire to use the forward only if he was "more than ready" to play, stating that he wanted him to absorb more contact before returning. Sharp will be ruled out for both ends of the Blackhawks' back-to-back set, but should be a lineup option for the team as early as next Tuesday. That would put him total length of absence at five weeks -- about one-to-two longer than initially anticipated.
