The New Jersey Devils demoted TimSestito to the AHL.
That's not surprising as he did remarkably little in his six games at the NHL level, failing to score a single point or do anything significant in a peripheral category.
The New Jersey Devils demoted TimSestito to the AHL.
That shouldn't come as much of a surprise as Sestito did very little in his six games at the NHL level, failing to register a point, having a +1 rating, four SOG and two PIM.
The Devils needed to make room for Ryan Carter (concussion), who has been activated off of the injured reserve list. Sestito has 20 points and 88 penalty minutes in 50 AHL games this season.
He will accompany the team to Winnipeg, where the Devils will play Thursday night. Sestito hasn't played in the NHL yet this season, but he did skate in 18 games with the Devils last year.
