Despite being pulled after allowing four goals against the lowly Flames Friday night, we expect Pekka Rinne to start Sunday against Chicago.

Preds' coach Barry Trotz said that three of those goals were not Rinne's fault. Given how well he has played since his return from injury, Rinne has quite a bit of slack. We suggest you stick by him. Anyone can have an off night.

He now has a 6-9-1 record with a 2.59 GAA and .909 save percentage. The Predators will play tonight against Vancouver and maybe they will start Hutton instead of Rinne.

Pekka Rinne will start for Nashville on Tuesday.

The larger question is if Rinne, who missed most of the season due to a hip injury, will play again on Wednesday. He's already participated in both halves of one back-to-back set and claimed to feel fine afterwards, so we wouldn't rule it out.
