Ribeiro assisted on Colin Wilson's game-winning goal late in the third period of Saturday's match against the Devils. There have been fewer better bargains in hockey this season than Ribeiro, who was forced to settle for a modest one-year, $1.05 million contract with the Preds in the summer after burning bridges with management in Arizona. Suffice to say, he's found a home under the leadership of Peter Laviolette, who plugged Ribeiro into a top-line role from Day 1 and has been reaping the dividends ever since. He could hit 50 assists with a goal total in the high teens, which would add up to yet another terrific campaign for the crafty veteran center. Now if only he could win more draws -- he lost 12 of 16 Tuesday. This year's .424 winning percentage is among the lowest he's posted, and Ribeiro was never a good faceoff man in the first place.
