Bogosian tallied his third goal of the season and chipped in a power-play assist in Friday's win over the Blackhawks.

All three of Bogosian's goals have come in the last five games, with the blueliner also adding a pair of assists during that time. He's reached the 30-point plateau for a season before, so this sort run of production isn't necessarily unprecedented for Bogosian. He might be worth scooping up off the waiver wire in deeper formats.

Bogosian gathered an assist, three hits and finished with a plus-5 rating in Tuesday's 8-2 thrashing of the Panthers.

Bogosian posted the highest plus/minus of the night of any player on the Jets, while also extending his point streak to three games. The blueliner has generally been a letdown offensively since being selected with the No. 3 overall pick in 2008, but there's no questioning his talents. He might be worth a speculative pickup in deeper formats on the off chance that he's finally begun to unlock his vast potential.

Bogosian supplied the game-tying goal in Saturday's shootout win over the Kings.

The Jets gave away a 3-0 lead about midway through the third period, but Bogosian came up clutch about two minutes later to extend the game to overtime. It was the first goal in 41 games for Bogosian, a streak that dated all the way back to last season.

Bogosian (lower body) has been activated from IR and will play Thursday against the Coyotes.

Bogosian was given clearance to play nearly three weeks earlier than had been expected. He was able to demonstrate that he was feeling healthy by taking part in each of the last two practices, and with no setbacks during the team's morning skate, he'll draw back in for the first time since Dec. 3. The 24-year-old, who has no goals and eight assists over 25 games this season, is expected to join Jay Harrison on the second pairing.

Bogosian has participated in two consecutive full practices and hasn't suffered any setbacks. Bogosian (lower body) could play at some point on the Jets' upcoming three-game road trip.

Bogosian has been sidelined by the lower-body injury since the beginning of December, and wasn't expected to begin skating until mid-January. That timetable apparently has moved up rapidly, as he now could return to the ice at some point this week. The first game of the three-game road trip is Thursday against the Coyotes, followed by back-to-back games Saturday and Sunday.

Bogosian (lower body) isn't likely to skate until the middle of January, the Winnipeg Free Press reports.

He'll use the next few weeks to rehab the injury off the ice, further adding to the Jets' run of bad luck on the blue line. Along with Bogosian, all of Toby Enstrom, Jacob Trouba and Mark Stuart are expected to be out of commission until the middle of January, at the earliest.

Bogosian will miss four-to-six weeks with a lower-body injury. The Jets have placed him on injured reserve.

It's believed that Bogosian suffered the injury -- most likely a broken foot -- when he took a hard shot to his leg in Wednesday's win over the Oilers. Bogosian only provided no goals and eight points over 25 games, but his solid play on defense was a key reason the Jets have allowed the fourth-fewest goals per game this season. In addition to Bogosian, the Jets also announced Thursday that both Tobias Enstrom and Grant Clitsome would miss multiple weeks with injuries, leaving the team extremely shorthanded on the blue line.

Bogosian turned in an active outing in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Carolina, assisting on a score on offense while blocking two shots, delivering three hits and earning two penalty minutes over his 28 shifts.

Bogosian was awarded the game's third star for his efforts. The blueliner has a satisfactory seven assists and a plus-4 rating over 16 games, but he's still searching for his first goal of the season.
