Quincey (ankle) will likely miss the next two games, Helene St. James of The Detroit Free Press reports.

Quincey has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Senators and is considered doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Rangers, so it appears he will not play again until Friday at the earliest.

Quincey (ankle) practiced with the team Monday, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.

The blueliner is with the team in Ottawa, and sounds like he could get back in the lineup for Tuesday's matchup with the Senators. Quincey has recorded one assist through ten games this season.

General manager Ken Holland said Quincey (ankle) is being viewed as day-to-day, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports.

Although Quincey has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Sabres, the defenseman will travel with the Red Wings on their three-game road trip. Brian Lashoff is set to replace Quincey in the lineup until the ankle is no longer bothering him.

Quincey (ankle) is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Sabres, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports.

After injuring his ankle in Friday's victory over the Kings, Quincey failed to take part in Saturday's practice. The Red Wings will see if a couple days of rest are enough for Quincey to get over the injury, but it's possible that he could be forced to miss multiple games.

Quincey has been diagnosed with an ankle injury, Ted Kulfan of the Detroit News reports.

GM Ken Holland said the Red Wings were uncertain whether Quincey's injury was a short-term or long-term concern. A more thorough evaluation by the team's medical staff over the next 24 hours should offer a clearer prognosis for Quincey, who has one point in 10 games this season.

Quincey left Friday's game with a lower body injury and will not return, Chris McCosky of DetroitNews.com reports.

The severity of Quincey's injury is unknown at this point in time. His status may be in question for the team's next game. The team should shed some light on Quincey's status in the coming days.

The Detroit Red Wings signed Kyle Quincey to a two-year, $8.5 million contract on July 1.

That's about $1 million more than his previous two-year deal with the Red Wings. Quincey's offensive game seems like it's slipping a bit, but a decent depth option considering his solid PIM (88 PIM in 2013-14).

There is a very good chance that Kyle Quincey has played his last game for the Red Wings.

The underrated defenseman is slated to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st and every indication is that he test the market. Given the offers rearguards have procurred in years' past, it is likely Quincey will find a better deal with another club. It is also unlikely the Red Wings will re-sign their other UFAs Todd Bertuzzi, Daniel Cleary, David Legwand, Mikael Samuelsson and Jonas Gustavsson. Daniel Alfredsson, the Wings' sixth UFA could return to Motown if he wishes to play another season.

Detroit coach Mike Babcock switched up his top two defenseman pairings for Saturday's game against Florida.

He split up the struggling pair of Kyle Quincey and Brendan Smith. Quincey played with Danny DeKeyser and registered an assist, while Smith skated alongside Niklas Kronwall and scored a goal. Quincey was minus 13 and Smith minus six going into Saturday's contest. For at least one game, the switch seems to have revitalized both Quincey and Smith. That said, we can't recommend either at this time.

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Kyle Quincey is at risk of a possible suspension after being ejected for a hit on Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Getzlaf.

Quincey received a game misconduct and five-minute boarding major. He has one suspension (April 2012, one game) on his resume, so that works against his him. It helps that Getzlaf returned during Tuesday's contest, however.
