Price will be back in goal Saturday against the Flyers, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

After ceding Thursday's start to Dustin Tokarski, Price will predictably reenter the crease for the Habs. Price struggled in his first outing of the season Wednesday against Toronto, but it probably won't be long before he returns to dominant form.

Price allowed three goals on 27 shots in Wednesday's win over the Maple Leafs.

Price didn't have his best performance Wednesday, but after a strong showing in the preseason, there's no reason for alarm for fantasy owners. Backup netminder Dustin Tokarski will get the start Thursday against the Capitals, but that's pretty standard procedure for teams with games on back-to-back nights.

Price will receive the start reports.

The Leafs were one of the few teams to get the better of Price last season, as the netminder went 2-2-0 with a 3.28 GAA and .906 save percentage over four appearances against Toronto. It's probably wise for fantasy owners to chalk it up to small sample size and embrace Price's excellent overall body of work on the season, which he'll look to replicate again in 2014-15. He's a must start any time he's set to take the ice.

Price stopped 31 of 32 shots in Wednesday night's 3-1 preseason win over Chicago.

It was another good performance from Price, who had a lineup of kids and NHL journeyman in front of him. The Habs were outshot 22-9 after two periods, but Price kept them in the game until the third period when Montreal scored three times.

Price (knee) stopped 29 of 30 shots in Sunday night's preseason loss to the Capitals. It was the first time playing a full game since he injured his knee in last season's playoffs.

It looks like the timing is coming back for Price, who was in mid-season form on a night when the Canadiens' offense managed just 18 shots. He is expected to start two of Montreal's final three preseason games.

Carey Price doesn't require surgery for the leg injury he sustained when Chris Kreider crashed into him during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final.

Price said he's doing okay, but he doesn't plan to start skating until mid-August. He had a 2.32 GAA and .927 save percentage in 59 games last season.

Carey Price doesn't believe Chris Kreider crashed into him on purpose.

The Rangers forward appeared to lose his balance and collided with Price in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final, sidelining him for the rest of the series. "No, I don't think it was on purpose," Price said. "Hockey is a rough sport. Injuries happen all the time. Sometimes they're intentional, sometimes it's just bad luck."

Carey Price said his "lower-body injury" won't require surgery.

He wouldn't divulge the nature of his ailment, but it was suspected to be a knee problem. Price did state that the ailment was unrelated to the one he had at the Winter Olympics. He may have been available for the Stanley Cup Final had the Canadiens advanced.

Carey Price (knee) took to the ice at the end of Thursday's morning skate in full equipment for a third straight day.

He worked out by himself and then he faced a few shots from his teammates. Price still isn't ready to return, so Dustin Tokarski is expected to start in Game 6 versus the New York Rangers.
