Stalberg assisted on James Neal's game-winning third-period goal in Thursday's 5-1 triumph over the Predators.

After being exiled to the minors for much of the season, Stalberg has started to come alive in the first-round series against his former team. The assist Thursday gives him three points through five games, with the winger chipping in a whopping 16 shots on goal to go along with 25 hits. He'll make for a strong value play in daily formats Saturday, when the Predators will head to Chicago for Game 6.

Stalberg recorded an assist during Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Colorado. It was his 10th point of the season, and sixth in 12 games since being recalled from AHL Milwaukee in early March.

Stalberg continues to skate on the Preds' third line with Matt Cullen and Calle Jarnkrok, and usually sees just 10-12 minutes of ice time per night. Stalberg has found himself a healthy scratch more often than not this season; however, given the secondary scoring he's currently providing, he should continue to see a regular spot in the Preds' lineup for the remainder of the season and into the playoffs.

Stalberg (lower body) will return to the lineup Thursday against the Lightning, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.

Stalberg missed Tuesday's game due to a lower-body injury suffered in practice, but was able to rejoin the team for Wednesday's session. With the winger enduring no setbacks during the Preds' gameday skate, he's slated to reenter the lineup as a member of the third line.

Stalberg (lower body) will travel with the Predators on their two-game road trip beginning Thursday in Tampa Bay.

Stalberg was ruled out of Tuesday's game against the Canadiens after suffering the injury in the team's skate session earlier in the day, but was able to return to practice Wednesday. Though his participation was enough for the Predators to bring him along on the trip, there's no guarantee that he'll be cleared to play in time for Thursday's game. With Matt Cullen also ailing with a lower-body injury, the Predators will continue to carry Viktor Arvidsson and Kevin Fiala as extra forwards.

Stalberg is missing Tuesday's game against the Canadiens due to a lower-body injury, Adam Vignan of The Tennessean reports.

Stalberg, who sustained the injury during Tuesday's practice, is considered day-to-day ahead of Thursday's match in Tampa Bay. Emergency call-up Kevin Fiala entered the lineup Tuesday in place of the injured Stalberg, but Viktor Arvidsson served as his direct replacement on the Preds' third line.

Stalberg (undisclosed) isn't skating during pregame warmups and looks to be out Tuesday versus the Canadiens.

Emergency call-up Kevin Fiala will replace him in the lineup. Stalberg, who entered Tuesday having registered an assist in his last two games, appeared to suffer the injury during practice. The Predators haven't provided much information yet regarding the extent or nature of Stalberg's injury.

Stalberg left the Predators' morning skate early with a suspected injury and didn't return to the ice.

Coach Peter Laviolette said after the session that he didn't have an update on Stalberg's condition, so the winger will presumably be a game-time decision for Tuesday's tilt with the Habs. If Stalberg ends up being ruled out for the contest, Matt Cullen, who skated as an extra forward Tuesday, would likely step into the lineup.

Stalberg's first goal of the season was the game-winner Saturday against Los Angeles.

Considering Stalberg has bounced between Nashville and AHL Milwaukee for most of the season, he doesn't hold much fantasy value right now. While he's skating on the third line, he's played in only 14 games this season, managing five points. Unless he sees an increased role, he isn't worth much in fantasy.

The Predators recalled Stalberg from AHL Milwaukee on Monday, John Glennon of The Tennessean reports.

Stalberg has been shuffled between Nashville and Milwaukee the last couple weeks, and he will return to Nashville again after recording a hat trick in his last game with Milwaukee. While Stalberg will be back with the Predators, his role figures to be minimal.

Stalberg was reassigned to AHL Milwaukee on Wednesday.Stalberg briefly looked like he would enter the lineup Tuesday against the Sharks as a 13th forward, as he skated with defenseman Seth Jones during warmups. However, he ended up being a surprise healthy scratch, as it was later revealed he was just acting as a placeholder for Anthony Bitetto, who was late in arriving to the arena due to the weather conditions. With the Predators expected to have the newly acquired Mike Santorelli available for Thursday's game against the Islanders, Stalberg's services weren't needed.
