Barrie was able to skate on his own Saturday morning, but since he didn't take participate with the Avs' healthy regulars, he'll be forced to sit out a second straight game. Coach Patrick Roy will again turn to Stefan Elliott to assume Barrie's spot on the Avs' second defensive pair. Barrie may still have a shot at returning Sunday against the Jets.
