Wingels (upper body) was placed on IR on Tuesday.

Coach Todd McLellan announced after Monday's game that Wingels would be "out a while" due to the injury, so the placement on IR doesn't come as much of a surprise. He'll be eligible to play immediately after the All-Star break, but there is no definitive timetable for his return.

Wingels notched his 10th goal of the season in Tuesday's win over the Wild.

It was Wingels' first goal in over a month, and his first point in eight games. The 26-year-old's slowing production is somewhat alarming, but it hasn't resulted in a major drop in ice time yet. Still, it's tough to justify keeping him active in fantasy lineups until he supplies some more consistent offense.

Wingels remained red-hot Saturday, contributing a pair of assists in a win over Calgary.

This guy might be the most underrated player in the league. With two goals and nine points in his last four games, Wingels is now at 20 points (nine goals) in 28 games, putting him on pace for a 60-point season. He has been bumped up to the Sharks' second line with Logan Couture and is definitely worth adding. The 26-year-old is the real deal.
