The veteran blueliner is still a free agent, but is reportedly receiving interest from multiple teams now that he's almost healthy. He's still interested in returning to the NHL, so keep an eye out for a team to sign him in the coming weeks.

Salo underwent wrist surgery recently, Sportsnet's Dan Murphy reports. Considering the lengthy recovery timetable of the procedure, as well as his age (40), Salo has more than likely chosen to hang up his skates for good. Salo, who suited up in 71 games in 2013-14, has spent 15 seasons in the NHL with the Senators, Canucks and Lightning, accumulating 339 points in 878 career games.

Sami Salo was absent from Game 3 on Sunday because of an upper-body injury. He participated in Sunday's morning skate and didn't show any signs that he was hurt. Consider him day-to-day for now.
