Marleau collected two assists in Friday's 3-1 win over Arizona. He now has eight points over his last six games.

With the Sharks' playoff hopes are virtually non-existent at this point, it's been too little, too late from Marleau, but fantasy owners don't mind. The veteran is up to 56 points on the season, and although his 18 goals are a far cry from last year's 33, Marleau has found ways to produce recently. With four games remaining on the docket, he could very well crack the 60-point barrier for the eighth time in his career.

Marleau scored two goals -- one an empty-netter -- and notched an assist in Thursday's win over the Red Wings. He finished plus-3 with two PIM.

Fine work by Marleau, propelling him over the 50-point mark for the 11th time in his career. Unfortunately, his fantasy owners have come to expect 60-plus, if not 70 points, so this season can only qualify as a disappointment for the veteran forward.

Marleau chipped in an assist in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Senators.

The assist helped Marleau snap a seven-game point drought, which has only been his second-longest slide of the season. With 15 goals, 49 points, and a minus-19 rating over 73 games, the end of the road may only be a couple years away for Marleau, who will turn 36 in September. He's on track to finish with his worst scoring output for a full season since 2007-08, and could deliver a career-worst mark in plus/minus rating.

Marleau rattled off a pair of assists, a plus-2 rating and two penalty minutes Tuesday in a 6-2 win over Vancouver.

That's a four-game point streak for the veteran now, in which he's got three goals and now these two helpers. It's also nice to see him finish on the positive side of the plus-minus ledger, as he'd managed to do that only one time in the prior eight games and had gone minus-7 in that span, cratering his season number to minus-16 before he pulled it up two notches Tuesday. At 35 years old, Marleau isn't the scorer he once was, but he's still been plenty productive if you can take the rating hit.

Marleau scored his 15th goal of the season -- and fourth in five games -- in Monday's 4-0 shutout victory over the visiting Canadiens.

Marleau has a nice little three-game goal streak on the go, inching himself closer to the 20-goal plateau for what would be the 13th time in his career. His overall numbers this year are still a disappointment -- 15 goals, 46 points, a minus-16 rating and 188 SOG after posting 33 goals, 70 points, an even rating and 285 SOG last season -- but there's still plenty of value to be had here. Keep him active and cross your fingers that he stays motivated as the Sharks will need a total team effort if they hope to make the playoffs for the 11th straight season.

Marleau scored one of two San Jose goals in Saturday's loss to Ottawa.

He's now netted goals in consecutive games, with both coming on the power play. Marleau was stuck in a long scoring slumber from about mid-December to mid-January, but seems to have turned the corner since. He's been responsible for seven goals and 10 assists over his last 19 games.

Marleau was credited with two assists in Wednesday's overtime loss to the Capitals.Marleau also won all three of his faceoffs on the night, one of which directly resulted in Brent Burns' second goal in a 22-second span in the second period. While Marleau has endured some rough patches this season -- most notably, a 16-game goal drought that was his longest in nearly 13 years -- he's managed to compile 41 points over 56 games. Even at age 35, Marleau still warrants universal fantasy ownership.

Marleau scored his 11th goal of the season and had an assist in Saturday's loss to the Hurricanes.

After a rough stretch with only one point in 14 games, Marleau now has four goals and 11 points in his last 10 games. Skating on the second line with Logan Couture, Marleau will need to continue delivering down the stretch if the Sharks hope to make the playoffs. With an impressive 162 shots on goal and four power-play tallies on the year, Marleau has gotten himself back on track. Use him accordingly.
