Palat's two assists Monday in a win over the Canadiens give him 59 points on the season, a tally that equals his career mark set last year.

He's clearly grown his offensive game, as those 59 points have come in 12 fewer games. He has 12 point, including 11 assists, in his last 10 games and should be rolled in all formats right now.

Palat delivered a power-play goal and an even-strength assist in Sunday's win over the Bruins. He now has four points in his last two games and 12 (four goals, eight assists) in his last 10 games.

He's getting close to matching his career mark of 59 last season (he has 56). We're not sure he's going to be more than a 65-point guy in the future, but we'll take a consistent 65-points for the next six or eight years. Use him well.

Palat returned to the lineup Friday, picking up two assists in a win over the Red Wings.

A great return for Palat, who has missed the past three games with a foot injury. The 23-year-old skated on the second line, logging 16:46 of ice time and recording a plus-2 rating. He's now up to 54 points and a plus-30 rating in 65 games. Now that he's back to full health, make sure he's in your lineup, as he's been producing at close to a point-per-game pace this season and plays on the top power-play unit with Steve Stamkos.

Palat (foot) could return to action as soon as Friday against the Red Wings, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Smith relays that Palat didn't appear limited while participating in Thursday's practice, so it looks like the forward will be back sooner than expected, after injuring his foot on March 10. Prior to sustaining the injury, Palat had notched 52 points in 64 games for the Lightning.
