Mark Recchi is glad to be retired and he's very happy right now that he doesn't have to endure another lockout.
The veteran winger experienced the lockouts in 1994-95 and 2004-05. Recchi did offer some words of wisdom for the players though. "My advice is that the longer it goes, the worse [the offer] is going to get [for the players]," he said. "Hey, I'm an owner, too, so I see both sides. We lose money on our team, and obviously that's not the same, the money's not nearly as significant as in the NHL, but the business dynamics are similar. We've lost money every year we've owned it." Recchi is a part owner of the WHL's Kamloops Blazers.

Mark Recchi has no regrets about his retirement from the NHL.
He is living the life after having his day with the cup this weekend. He ends this beautiful summer with a tattoo on his leg. What is on this tattoo? Why the Bruins logo with a Stanley Cup, what else? He plans on relaxing, although he has received several TV offers. Congratulations once again on a terrific career.
