Turris picked up an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Turris finds himself in the middle of his most significant offensive slump of the season. He's produced no goals and two assists over his last seven games, and hasn't recorded a special teams point since Dec. 17. While he wasn't expected to fully replicate Jason Spezza's production this season as the Sens' No. 1 center, Turris probably hasn't lived up to the expectations set out for him. He sports a minus-8 rating and is on pace to score fewer goals and points than a season earlier, despite seeing an increase in time on ice.
