Lehtonen was pulled after allowing four goals on 19 shots in a 5-3 loss to the Flames on Monday.

Lehtonen -- who had previously won eight of his last 10 starts -- was lit up by the Flames offense on this night. He's been one of the league's busiest goalies with 64 appearances this season, compiling a .906 save percentage and 2.88 GAA along the way -- numbers that just haven't been good enough to get the Stars into the playoffs.

Lehtonen is on track to start Monday's game against the Flames, NHL.com's Mark Stepneski reports.

Lehtonen stopped 33 of 36 shots in Saturday's win over the Canucks.

While Lehtonen has won eight of his last 10 games, he's allowed at least three goals in four straight outings. While his .907 save percentage and 2.84 GAA needs work, Lehtonen's 34-15-10 record makes him a reliable fantasy option. He starts almost every game and hasn't suffered back-to-back regulation losses since late-January.

Lehtonen will be in net for Saturday's game against the Canucks, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Lehtonen will look to bounce back from a poor performance on Friday against the Oilers in which he allowed four goals on 28 shots. He'll take on a Vancouver squad that averages 2.81 goals scored per game, good for 12th best in the NHL.

Lehtonen allowed four goals on 28 shots in a disappointing 4-0 loss to the Oilers on Friday.

Even if the offense in front of him would have provided some support, allowing four goals is often too tough to overcome. The loss snaps a four-game winning streak for Lehtonen, who has been solid of late in trying to keep the Stats in playoff contention. Dallas plays again Saturday in Vancouver, so owners will want to check in leading up to game time as to who coach Lindy Ruff hands the start to.

Lehtonen will be in the crease for Saturday's game against the Oilers, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports.

The Stars will begin a back-to-back set Friday, and with the team still trying to force its way back into the playoff picture, it's conceivable that Lehtonen could get the nod again Saturday in Vancouver. However, no decision on that front will likely be made until Lehtonen takes on the Oilers in what should be a favorable matchup for the goaltender. Edmonton ranks in the bottom fifth of the league in both goals and shot attempts per game, and with Lehtonen reeling off wins in seven of his last eight games, he'll make for an easy activation Friday.

Lehtonen stopped 31 of 34 shots then was perfect in the shootout in a 4-3 win over the Flames on Wednesday.

Where has this guy been all year? That's four straight wins and seven victories in the last eight appearances for Lehtonen, who's now up to 33 wins on the season. At 61 starts, he's one of the more heavily-used goalies in the league -- and as such gives owners frequent opportunity for wins. The only problem is that he's been wildly inconsistent this year with a .908 save percentage and 2.82 GAA, so it's nice to see the Finn put rack up some W's. Better late than never, right?

Lehtonen is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Flames, NHL.com's Mark Stepneski reports.

Lehtonen, who is 6-1-0 in his past seven games with a 1.71 GAA and .932 save percentage in that span, is thus slated to make his eighth straight start in net for the Stars on Wednesday.

Lehtonen was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate and is in line to start Wednesday against the Flames, NHL.com's Aaron Vickers reports.

Eight games back of the Jets for the final wild-card spot, the Stars' playoff hopes still remain on life support, but Lehtonen has been instrumental in keeping the team alive this long. Though it's been largely an awful season for him, Lehtonen has won eight of his nine starts in March while compiling a 1.98 GAA and .925 save percentage. He was only to narrowly escape with a victory his last time out against a horrible Buffalo squad, but with his inspired play on the whole of late makes it worthwhile to keep him active Wednesday.

Lehtonen allowed three goals on 28 shots in a 4-3 win over Buffalo on Monday.

He wasn't great in this one, but was good enough for his 32nd win of the season. Lehtonen has now won three consecutive starts and has emerged victorious in six of his last seven, so he makes for a great play right now despite his sub-par .907 save percentage and 2.82 GAA.
