Toews ended what had been a quiet series against Minnesota by posting two assists -- one on the power play, one on a shorthanded empty-netter -- and two penalty minutes Thursday in a sweep-completing 4-3 victory.

The first three games of the series yielded just a single point (a shorthanded goal) for Toews, but he got back at it Thursday and has now compiled 11 points in 10 playoff games this year.
