Hiller was pulled early in the second period Thursday in Game 1 after giving up three goals on 14 shots against the Ducks.

Karri Ramo wasn't a whole lot more effective in his place, giving up three goals of his own on 21 shots in relief. Hiller spent his whole career in Anaheim prior to this season, so he should be out for vengeance against his former teammates, but there may be no stopping the Ducks -- winners of all five of their playoff games -- right now.

Hiller will start in net for Game 1 against the Ducks, Roger Millions of Sportsnet reports.

Hiller struggled in his Game 6 start, getting pulled after facing just three shots. However, he was solid in net for most of the series, and should start the second-round games as well.

Hiller was pulled from Saturday's Game 6 against Vancouver after giving up two goals on three shots. Karri Ramo entered the game and the Flames rallied to defeat the Canucks 7-4, eliminating them from the postseason.

While Ramo was the hero Saturday, Hiller was the hero of the series, posting a .931 save percentage and 2.20 GAA. While it was a rough night for Hiller, the 33-year-old owns some of the best stats in these playoffs and should be in the crease when the Flames face the Ducks in Round 2.

Hiller will be in net in Saturday's Game 6 against Vancouver, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Hiller was solid in Game 5, turning away 41 of the 43 shots he faced. He's been excellent throughout the Flames' opening series, posting a 1.88 GAA through five games. He and the Flames will look to close out their series with the Canucks on Saturday.

Hiller made 41 saves on 43 shots, but was stuck with a 2-1 loss in Game 5 on Thursday in Vancouver.

The Canucks came in determined to force a Game 6, and they did so successfully by firing more than twice as many shots on Hiller as the Flames managed on Ryan Miller (21). Despite this loss, Hiller has had an excellent series, and it would be a shocker if the Flames don't roll with him again in Game 6 at home on Saturday.

Hiller is slated to start Thursday's game against the Canucks, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet.ca reports.

With the team having earned back-to-back home wins to open up a 3-1 lead in games over Vancouver, it's no real surprise that the Fames plan to stick with Hiller (and co.) as they try to close out their opening-round playoff series on the road. Through the first four games of the postseason, Hiller has recorded a 1.79 GAA to go along with a .938 save percentage.

Hiller rejected 28 of 29 shots to deliver a Game 4 victory against Vancouver on Tuesday.

Hiller's been masterful in this series, giving up just seven goals total in the four games -- and all of four in his three wins. He finished the regular season on a hot streak, and he's carrying it forward in a big way. Meanwhile, the Canucks -- favorites coming into the series -- seem to be back on their heels.

Hiller is in line to start Tuesday's game against the Canucks, Derek Willis of Sportsnet 960 the FAN reports.

Hiller, who made 23 saves on 25 shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over Vancouver, will thus look to help the Flames extend their 2-1 series lead on home ice in Tuesday's Game 4.

Hiller made 23 saves on 25 shots in Sunday's Game 3 win over Vancouver.

A great bounce-back effort from Hiller, who was pulled in Friday's Game 2 loss after giving up three goals on 29 shots. Aside from Game 2, Hiller has looked dominant in these playoffs and the Flames will continue to stick with them as they try to eliminate the Canucks in the first round. Hiller, who posted a .918 save percentage in the regular season, will likely be in the crease for Tuesday's Game 4 battle in Calgary.

Hiller will be between the pipes for Game 3 of the Flames' playoff series against the Canucks, Roger Millions of Sportsnet reports.

Despite being pulled in Game 2 after allowing three goals on 29 shots, the Flames will once again turn to Hiller for Game 3 of the series. If he continues to struggle, Calgary may have to consider giving Karri Ramo a shot in net in Game 4.
