Pageau signed a two-year, one-way, $1.8 million contract with the Senators on Thursday, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.

Pageau spent the majority of the 2014-15 season with the NHL club, logging 50 games with the Senators and only 27 with AHL Binghamton. He played quite well as a part of Ottawa's third line, registering 10 goals and nine assists for a total of 19 points in 50 games. Now that he's signed a one-way contract with the Senators, his days in the AHL have likely come to an end. He's still recovering from a leg injury he suffered in Game 5 of the Senators' first-round series against the Canadiens. However, he was able to return to Ottawa's lineup for Game 6 of that series, so he'll likely be ready for the start of the Senators' training camp in September.

Pageau is still recovering from a leg injury, likely stemming from Game 5 of the Senators' first-round series loss to the Canadiens, TSN.ca reports.

Pageau was forced to exit that match prematurely and initially looked questionable to play in Game 6 before the Senators signed off on his entry back into the lineup. Since the forward was deemed healthy enough to play through the injury just two days after suffering it, there seems to be little concern about his availability for the start of training camp in fall. After scoring a goal in each of the Senators' final three regular-season games, Pageau failed to tally a point during the six-game playoff series, putting a damper on any otherwise credible season for the 22-year-old.

Pageau, who received treatment on his knee Sunday morning, is good to go for the Sens' evening contest against Montreal, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Pageau, who left Friday's Game 5 with what was called a lower-body injury, is thus slated to remain in the Sens' lineup for Sunday's Game 6. Through the first five games of the series, Pageau has yet to notch a point, but he had recorded 23 hits and 14 blocked shots in that span.

Pageau is considered day-to-day after prematurely exiting Friday's Game 5 against the Canadiens with an apparent lower-body injury, Ken Warren of the Ottawa Citizen reports.

Pageau attempted to block a puck Friday but ultimately paid the price and is now in danger of missing Game 6. Until the Senators say otherwise, Pageau is in line to be a game-time decision ahead of Sunday's contest.

Pageau supplied the game-winning in Saturday's victory over the Flyers.

Pageau finished the season with a goal in four hits in each of his last three games, with his timely contributions ultimately aiding the Senators to a playoff berth. His third-line role might prevent the goal streak from continuing in the postseason, however, especially with the league's best goalie in Carey Price manning the net for the Sens' first-round opponent, Montreal.
