Zajac (upper body) is hopeful to return this weekend, Rich Chere of the Newark Star-Ledger reports. The Devils host the Ducks on Saturday and then travel to Boston for a game against the Bruins a day later.

EDGE Analysis

Zajac has been away from game action since Dec. 3, when he originally sustained the upper-body ailment in a road match with the Hurricanes. When healthy, he's a decent source of goals and assists, having compiled 363 points (133 goals, 230 assists) in 649 career games.
