Tomas Vokoun was beaten on a bizarre play on Sunday.
Capitals defenseman John Carlson dumped the puck into the Penguins zone from center ice, so Vokoun left the net to play it. However, the puck bounced off the boards and into the empty net. "Now, looking back, it's easy to say maybe I should wait until you can see where it's going to hit on the glass," he said. "It's a tough bounce. You freeze, and there's nothing you can do." At the time it tied the game at 2, but Pittsburgh still ended up winning 6-3.
