The top two picks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Nail Yakupov and Ryan Murray, will play against each other on Wednesday.
Yakupov, who the Oilers took first overall, will play for Team Russia, and Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Murray will be representing the WHL in the Subway Super Series. "It's fun to play against players like that and it's fun to be on the ice with guys like that," said Murray. "You get to test yourself against him and I'm looking forward to that. You want to play against the best and I'm sure there's going to be a lot of fierce competition out there." Both of these players would have probably made their NHL debuts by now if it wasn't for the lockout.
