The Jets are hoping Myers can continue to provide some key offensive production from the blue line, Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.Lawless believes that "A big part of what Myers will be expected to do in Winnipeg is get in position to receive passes from (Toby) Enstrom and then create offence. Enstrom needs a finisher and that is now the responsibility of Myers." Lawless went on to note that "Enstrom is an elite passer and Myers has a stinging shot and the ability to get it through." Myers has already tallied three points in just his first three games as a Jet. He's averaging more than 22 minutes of ice time per game with his new club, and has also found a spot on Winnipeg's second power-play unit. Fantasy owners can expect a noticeable, if not significant, uptick in production from Myers going forward. It seems as though a change in scenery was just what the former Calder Trophy winner needed.
