Teemu Selanne is hopeful that the lockout will be settled soon.
"I am optimistic. I want to have my hopes up," he said. "And, also, we know that this month is the key month. If we can't find anything this month, we're in trouble. That's for sure. I think right now, they're going to find something. I really believe that." The 42-year-old veteran signed a one-year, $4.5 million contract extension with the Ducks this past summer and losing a year of playing because of a lockout would be a terrible way for him to end his more than worthy Hall of Fame career.
