Smith missed Monday's tilt against the Rangers as well as Wednesday's practice with the injury, so it's certainly encouraging to see him log a full practice Friday ahead of Saturday's game against the Hurricanes. If he's able to suit up for Saturday's contest, he will likely slot in as a bottom-six forward for the Sharks.
