Scrivens will be between the pipes for Wednesday's game against the Ducks, Mark Spector of Sportsnet.ca reports. Coach Todd Nelson likely would have preferred to ride a suddenly hot Richard Bachman in goal for Wednesday's game, but with the netminder leaving the team due to a death in the family, Scrivens will pick up his first start since March 25. The Oilers have been playing their best hockey of the season of late with victories in six of their past eight games, but Scrivens' overall body of work shouldn't inspire a ton of confidence for the winning ways to continue much longer. The Ducks have been victorious in both of the two teams' previous three meetings this season, with Scrivens on the losing end of a 2-1 decision back on Feb. 21.
