Scott Hartnell was a disappointment in 2013.
Missing 16 games with a broken foot didn't help, but when he played he wasn't nearly as productive as he was during the 2011-12 campaign. Hartnell averaged just 0.34 points-per-game while recording eight goals and 11 points in 32 matches. Last year, he clicked at a 0.82 points-per-game rate and posted career highs with 37 goals and 67 points. If the Flyers don't make any moves up to compliment their top six during the off-season then Hartnell should get an opportunity to rebound next season alongside Claude Giroux on Philadelphia's top line.
