Ryan Whitney has three assists in seven games this season.
That's not bad production out of a blueliner and there's no reason to believe he'll slow down. If anything, he might start recording more points per game, given how much offensive talent is on the Oilers and the fact that Whitney is logging tons of time with the man advantage. The bigger question is if he can stay healthy. He's played in just 105 games over the last three seasons, so he's a high-risk, high-reward pick.
