Parenteau (upper body) will not play Friday, Jessica Rusnak of TSN 690 in Montreal reports. Parenteau did not take part in practice Thursday after playing 12:13 in Wednesday's Game 1 victory over the Senators. His injury is unknown at this time, but look for an update on his status prior to Game 3 on Sunday.
