Nathan Horton on Thursday skated full speed with his teammates for the first time since suffering a concussion in January of 2012.
Excellent news. Horton sustained his first head injury during Game 3 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals, then received another hit the next season and ultimately couldn't get back on the ice. "I feel great," Horton said. "I've had a lot of time to work out and get back to normal. Obviously it's been tough for everyone this year. It's not the way anybody wanted it to be. But I feel great. Better than I have in a long time." The Bruins forward is in the final year of a six-year, $24 million contract.
