Nathan Horton got his first bit of game action and he initiated some contact during Boston's Tuesday night scrimmage.
"It felt really good to be out there," said Horton, who hasn't played since Jan. 22, 2012 because of a concussion. "It's different than anything else. I've been doing scrimmages, a little shinny, practices. It's way different being on the ice in a game situation. It feels so good to be back. I have no worries, no nothing. I just feel myself. Just trying to push as hard as I can, move my feet, and try to get back as soon as possible." The Bruins will need Horton and his linemate Milan Lucic to come out of the gate quickly in the shortened season, but it may take the big-bodied forwards some time to find their legs.
