Justin Williams potted the lone goal as the Los Angeles Kings dropped their second straight Stanley Cup Final game to the New Jersey Devils 2-1 in Game 5 on Saturday night.
New Jersey held its original one-goal lead for about 11 minutes before Williams beat a screened Martin Brodeur stick-side to knot the game up at one. That would last for less than six minutes before New Jersey took the lead for good. Williams' goal was his fourth of the playoffs. More notable, however, is that Dustin Brown, who had seven goals and nine assists entering this series, has been held to only one assist. The Kings' captain hasn't scored in 10 games now. With the series advantage trimmed to 3-2, Los Angeles needs its big-time players to step up in what's become its diciest series of the playoffs.
