Jeff Skinner registered three assists in Carolina's 4-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Monday night.
Skinner missed a significant chunk of last season due to a concussion and his production suffered a bit but seems in fine shape this year. In fact, it was the first time since November 2011 that Skinner had a three-point night. With five goals and four assists in eight games, the 20-year-old has gotten off to a fast start in this shortened campaign. The Hurricanes visit Ottawa on Thursday.
