Jeff Carter scored twice in the Kings' Stanley Cup-clinching win in Game 6 of the Final.
The forward was one of three Kings to score in the first during a five-minute power play, and he also scored at 1:30 of the second period. With 34 points in 55 games, Carter certainly has enjoyed better regular seasons, but he stepped up his game in the playoffs with a post-season high eight goals, with five assists. In the 41 games since his arrival, the Kings went 29-9-3. "Definitely, this is the team we should have been all season, especially when Carts first got here," defenseman Drew Doughty said. "That made our team the way it is now and we definitely didn't play the way we could until the playoffs started."
