Jarome Iginla is still hoping that the lockout will be short.
"There's been a negative sentiment already, but it gets a lot worse once you start missing regular-season games," Iginla said. "I'll be disappointed if any games are missed. I think it can be avoided. I'm hoping so. But there's definitely a lot of uncertainties." Iginla has three young kids and doesn't see playing in Europe as an option for him. If the lockout shortens the season by months, Iginla might be one of the more rusty players when play resumes.
