Filppula lit the lamp for his eighth goal of the season Friday against the Sabres. He fired off five shots on goal in the victory. Filppula isn't scoring with the same sort of frequency as he was earlier in the season, but he's been able to maintain relevance since being removed from the Steven Stamkos line. He's notched a respectable two goals and three assists over his last eight contests, making him a decent depth forward in certain fantasy formats.
