Evander Kane said the KHL wasn't conducive to his style of play.
The Jets' forward had just one goal and 47 minutes in 12 games before returning to North America. "Everyone thinks [the KHL is] a faster game and it's more exciting, but if you look at it closely, it's really not," Kane said. "It's a lot of sitting back and trapping it up. Me wanting to get on the forecheck, pressure and play that NHL style of game, it's tough to do over there." Kane is still hopeful there will be an agreement soon so that he doesn't have to make another decision to play abroad or just stick out the lockout.
