Daniel Briere fired 10 shots on goal in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Rangers, but he wasn't able to beat Henrik Lundqvist.
"I had a couple good chances - but it's Lundqviust [in goal]," Briere said with a shrug. "On most goalies, it would have been a two- or three-goal night. It happens. I'm going to keep shooting. It's not good for my shooting percentage, but I'm going to keep shooting." He finished the match with 23:26 of ice time in his third game back from a wrist injury, which sidelined him for the start of the year. Briere hasn't had a point since his return, but if he continues to play like that he's sure to begin producing soon.
