Brent Seabrook has a league-leading 13 blocked shots in just three games.
"I don't know who was counting them," Seabrook said. "Some of them just sort of grazed off me in good spots. It's one of those things where I'm trying to get in the right lanes and get in the way. A few pucks hit me. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing." Seabrook won't maintain that rate of blocked shots, but he will probably end up averaging about two per game. He's been more than willing to use his body to stop shots during his NHL career, which makes it all the more remarkable that he's played in at least 78 games in each of his previous six seasons.
