Brandon Dubinsky might miss up to six weeks after breaking his index finger with the ECHL Alaska Aces on Saturday.
"Knowing Brandon, it was intentional; we was trying to block a shot," Dubinsky's agent, Kurt Overhardt said. "The good news is it's a clean break. The recovery shouldn't be too long. He's broken a bone in the same hand before, but in a different place, different bone." Don't count on Dubinsky being ready for the Blue Jackets' opener if a new CBA is agreed upon within the next week.
