Andrew Ladd skated with some Winnipeg teammates on Wednesday, but he isn't interested in rounding up more players to organize controlled scrimmages.
"We're locked out," said the Jets captain. "(Getting more guys in Winnipeg) is helping the Winnipeg Jets... you know what I mean? This is a lockout. Our main priority isn't to stay ready for them, it's more for ourselves." Comments like that show the divide that currently exists between the players' union and the league. Ladd is still going over his options to play in Europe.
