King tallied Los Angeles' lone regulation goal in Monday's shootout loss to the Canucks.

King has helped buoy the attack with points in three consecutive games, with Monday's marker evening his goal and assist totals at 13 apiece for the season. He's been an adequate replacement for Tanner Pearson in the Kings' new iteration of "That 70's Line," but in coach Darryl Sutter's conservative, two-way system, King is unlikely to ever post eye-popping numbers. His value remains limited to deeper formats, even amid his hot streak.

King collected an assist Tuesday, helping his team to a 4-2 win over the Rangers.

With just over a minute elapsed in the third period, King threaded a horizontal pass to Jeff Carter, who proceeded to put the puck past goalie Cam Talbot. King had been without a point in 15 consecutive games heading into Tuesday's battle, adding more evidence to the notion that he's a streaky player. Still, even though he's not the King of the Kings from an offensive standpoint, this is a player who could heat up on short notice given that he skates on a line with Carter and Tyler Toffoli, a pair that has combined for 47 goals this year.

Despite this sudden outburst, it's unwise to count on King to continue producing for fantasy purposes.

King registered a goal and an assist in Monday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets. It's just the second time in the last 13 games that King has worked his way on to the scoresheet, and the two points bring him up to 15 on the season. The winger is a productive player for the Kings, but that hasn't always translated to enough success to warrant consideration among fantasy owners.

King finished Wednesday's 4-3 win against the Blackhawks with a plus-2 rating and an assist.

This was an impressive showing from King, a player who rarely makes waves in the fantasy realm. Apparent is King's energy on the ice but he shouldn't draw a serious look among fantasy hockey pickups unless he can start to establish any kind of offensive rhythm.

King found twine twice Saturday while firing six shots on goal and skating to a plus-2 in a wild 7-6 loss to the visiting Predators.

That's seven goals on the year and three in the last two games for King, who was set up by Anze Kopitar and Jake Muzzin on both strikes in this one. The 25-year-old is slightly off the pace that featured 15 goals and 15 assists in 77 games last year, but if he keeps seeing time with Kopitar, look for an uptick in production.

King is expected to rejoin the Los Angeles lineup Tuesday against the Panthers, Jon Rosen of LAKingsInsider.com reports.

King was a healthy scratch in Saturday's 3-2 victory over the Ducks, marking the first game the forward has missed this season. He's only supplied two goals and five points in 17 games, but it doesn't appear he's in danger of surrendering a regular role just yet to Jordan Nolan or Andy Andreoff, the Kings' regular healthy scratches at forward. King is expected to play on the second line Tuesday, joining Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli.
