Rundblad was named as the defenseman that will replace Marc Rozsival, who fractured his left ankle on Thursday night against the Wild, when the Blackhawks start the Stanley Cup Western Conference Finals, CSN Chicago reports.

Hawks' Joel Quenneville is going with the more offensive defenseman as Rundlbad had three goals and 11 assists in 49 games in the regular season. He will definitely be rusty as he has not skated since April 11. Rundblad could log the same amount of minutes as Rozsival, 15 to 18 minutes, in the opening game as Quenneville gives the bulk of the time on the ice to the team's top four defensemen.
