Daniel Briere produced a power-play goal in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Buffalo. His marker prevented Montreal's power play from going 0-for-6 in the match. "We had some chances," said Briere, who got 2:01 of ice time with the man advantage in the contest. "(Buffalo goaltender Matt) Hackett was good. And even on our chances we seemed to miss the net on a few occasions. One thing we talked about after the second period was trying to hit the net a little bit more and good things would happen." He has two points in his last two games to give him 24 on the year.
