Thomas Vanek recorded a hat trick for the Canadiens in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Avalanche. Vanek had been held without a goal in his previous five games as a member of the Canadiens so we definitely didn't see this coming. The goals give him 24 on the season, which he accumulated with three different teams. Dale Weise, Travis Moen and Brandon Prust also scored goals for the Habs in the win.
