Despite missing about seven minutes in Saturday's contest, Luke Schenn played a team-high 24 minutes, 54 seconds in the loss. Schenn returned to the ice late in the second period after being struck in the face by the puck. When blocking Tobias' shot, Schenn said he felt the puck "went right through my helmet. It seemed like everyone was on the other side of the ice and they moved over to [Enstrom], and he hit a wide-open lane. He wound up, and I just tried to get in front of him and block the shot. I'm lucky. It could have been a lot worse." Schenn, who has been the Flyers' best defenseman lately is worth a look in leagues that use hits and blocked shots as scoring categories. He had a team-high five shots and three blocked shots in the loss Saturday.
