Tyler Myers D BUF 10 Months
Tyler Myers, who had been a healthy scratch for two games this past week, played well in a 4-2 win over the Bruins Friday night.
He scored an important goal, registered an assist and looked more comfortable at both ends of the ice in the victory. Myers has had a miserable season so far (one goal and a minus nine rating), however, Friday night's contest could be a turning point. "When he's skating and moving, he's a tough man to keep track of," said coach Lindy Ruff. "I thought his energy in the game was maybe as good as I've seen this year." Myers was also pleased with his effort. "There's a lot of good things to take from it," Myers said. "I think the most important thing is I continue, not let this be a one-game thing. A lot of it is confidence. It's coming back." We have a feeling the 6'8" defenseman will be a solid starter from here on in.
