Cam Ward stopped 41 of 42 shots in the Hurricanes' 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs Monday night.
Ward owners who were ready to hit the panic button after a few subpar performances from the former Conn Smythe Trophy winner can breathe a sigh of relief for now. Moreover, Ward still deserves to be started everytime he's between the pipes as Carolina should be better this season. He's still an elite goaltender.
