There's a chance that Kris Versteeg (groin) will be available for Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay.
The Panthers have sent rookie forwards Quinton Howden and Drew Shore back down to AHL San Antonio. Versteeg also worked hard prior to Saturday's loss versus Philadelphia and appears to be close to making his season debut.
