The St. Louis Blues are a mighty confident bunch as they head into the 2013 NHL season today.
Under coach Ken Hitchcock, hired in the middle of the schedule last season, the Blues fared very well and goalie Brian Elliot says the Blues want to prove that "last year wasn't a fluke." Forward Chris Stewart labels last year's success "the tip of the iceberg." That's either tough talk or unabashed optimism. "I think we just have a good understanding of why we're here," Berglund said. "It's just this feeling we have. That's what I've got. I've got this feeling in my stomach that everybody wants to win. Everybody knows how much it would mean to win the Stanley Cup here. I think we're on the right track, and that's why everybody wants to push themselves even harder."
